SUNY Librarian's Association Conference

SUNY Cortland (where I work) has been hosting the SUNY Librarian's Association Conference this week. Tomorrow is the last day of the conference and it has been a blast. The only downside I can say about the whole experience is that I am exhausted. Volunteering to be the Technology Coordinator, and presenting as part of three different sessions was not one of my brighter ideas. Still people have been exceptionally receptive to my work, which makes me ecstatic. This almost compensates for my poor exceptionally sore feet. Links to my SUNYLA presentations have been uploaded to that site and I will be adding some more demo materials post conference when things get less hectic.

There were two really good sessions I went to today. One was a presentation on the future SUNY Union catalog, which was really interesting. The second was a presentation by Bill Drew from SUNY Morrisville about wireless in libraries. If you haven't checked out his wireless librarian site do so its well worth the time.
