Session Saver

I always seem to be finding useful new Firefox extensions. One of the best ones I found recently is called SessionSaver and what it does it it remembers what was in each of your tabs if you close the browser completely. I think that it even caches a copy of the page, although I’m not sure. This Firefox extension is so helpful. Particularly if you forget and close the browser instead of an individual tab in Firefox. I seem to be doing this a lot because I use both tabs and multiple browser windows. It is particular vexing when I am working with a browser window that has my WordPress admin open with a half written post and I flake and close the browser window. I instantly realized I’ve messed up and there is cursing plus sorrow as as wave bye bye beautiful to post I was working on! I’ve done this often enough now that I’ve taken to saving posts as I write them. Ie write a paragraph then save it in WordPress. At least then if I flake and close the browser window instead of the tab I don’t lose as much. If only SessionSaver would remember what I had type into my WordPress posts! Alas, it does not. But is certainly helpful for quickly getting back to that page you didn’t mean close out of.
