New Year, New Things to Learn

So just prior to the holidays I made a list of new things that I want/need to learn about in 2007. Below is my ambitious list:
- XQuery
- Xforms
- XML Native databases like eXist
- Indexing tools
Most of this list is due to growing interest and responsibilities related to digital libraries and collections. I was lucky enough to have an XML class in library school but things have changed since then and improved in various ways. It is always fun to work on new and challenging things. Although I often find myself wondering how I’m going to fit it all in with the book to write and other commitments. Oh well, I guess I’ll just have to take it in small bites.
