Web Accessibility
Well, I've been working my butt off to finish my presentation on web accessibility and OPACs for NAAUG (North American Aleph User's Group). I had my testing and preliminary stuff done a while ago but hadn't put everything together. As a result, I had forgotten what really good resources are available on the web about web accessibility.
So here's a smattering of the ones I found and am using for my presentation.
Adams, C. (2004). “Accessible Stylish Form Layout”, http://www.themaninblue.com/writing/perspective/2004/03/24/
Bohman, P. (2003). “Using Opera to Check for Accessibility”, http://www.webaim.org/techniques/articles/opera
Dive into Accessibility - http://www.diveintoaccessibility.org/
Moss, T. (2003). “What is Web Accessibility”, http://www.alistapart.com/articles/wiwa/
Web Accessibility in Mind - http://www.webaim.org/
All of these have great information and lots of it. So if you are a novice to web accessibility or just want to know more than you know already, these sites are a good place to start.
