Bloglines Redux

bloglines: everything looks so… different Andrea's review of the new Bloglines is great. Like her I logged on this morning and wondered for a second if I was at the right site. Nifty new tools and much better ways to keep track of your stuff.
I am a big fan of bloglines because it let's me keep up with my RSS feeds from wherever. I have been saving stuff to post to my blog on a regular basis. Now bloglines let's you post a news item to a blog much like RadioUserland. The downside of Radio for me has always been the fact that I can't do this from a distance. Well, you can but I am not willing to set things up and open my machine up to the security issues. Bloglines will host your weblog just like Radio as well, but I haven't checked out to see if you can get an RSS feed or how much you can customize the look.
So my new strategy is to post to my “private” blog at bloglines then transfer my musing when I get home. Wouldn't it be great if Bloglines offered an FTP feature so I could use my existing domain and server space, but the create my posts on their site? Ah well, I can't have it all but this certainly is another step in the right direction. Blog and read RSS feeds anytime anywhere. Keeping up with it all just got a little bit easier.
