Early Christmas present
Early Christmas present
This week I got an early Christmas present. I have to renew my
domain
name soon and I haven't had much time to see if anyone has been reading
my blog. I have several ways I could figure this out including log
files I could analyze (if I could find the time). However, this week I
decided that such statistical analysis was irrelevant. It started with
getting a bunch of email from people I have never met congratulating me
on my article, this week. Next someone who I was working with on
something and need my contact info emailed me this “By the way, when
searching for your e-mail address, I found your Library Web Chic
site. Lots of good information there.” Then my boss mentioned
that she had been reading my blog
while I was at Internet Librarian and asked “do you know how many
people link to you?” in a sort of amazed way. It seems she had Googled
my blog title in order find it and found much more. I've done this
myself but not since August. I did it this morning and my reaction was
“whoa!”.
So thank you readers, fellow bloggers, and people who are linking to
me. You've given me a Christmas present won't soon forget.
