A desktop Search that might actually interest me
Because I am an avid (and somewhat rabid) Firefox user, this post from ResearchBuzz was of great interest.
Copernic Releases Firefox-Supportin' Copernic Desktop Search
For
those of you who aren't very excited by these desktop search products
because they don't search the cache of the browser you actually use,
check it out. Copernic has released a new version of their Copernic
Desktop Search. It now support Firefox. Yippee!(Since it's an
updated version there are a couple of other new features available,
including better compliance with French, German, Spanish, and Italian
content, and faster indexing.)The Firefox indexing includes
both history and bookmarks. The new version of CDS also indexes the
latest PDF file format. The software is free, and is available at http://www.copernic.com/en/products/desktop-search/ . Niftee.
I've
downloaded it and will install and try it first chance I get. I am
often losing files or forgetting to FURL things I find on the net so I
am hoping this might help!
