IngentaConnect Makes My Week
A while back I was whining about the fact that it would be really nice
if I had an RSS feed of the table of contents of the latest issues of
my favorite journals. Apparently I'm not the only one who thinks that
this is a rationale and cool idea. IngentaConnect is supplying RSS
feeds for the table of contents of many journals including several in
the library field. I just happily subcribed to one for Library Hi Tech.
Now I don't have to visit the journal web page when a new issue comes
out to see if there is anything of interest. What a timesaver!
Unfortunately, not all the publications I watch are available. Maybe
with time more publishers will allow there content to be made available
this way.
