CSS Resources

The Librarian Way has a great post which lists a bunch of CSS resources and tutorials. W3Schools which is listed is a great resources for web design tutorial in general. They have materials on XHTML, CSS, ASP, XML, PHP and lots of other things a web designer might want to learn about. I’ve been using it as a resources for quite sometime. Its easier than carrying around a sack full of books on all possible web design topics. The post also mentions Eric Meyer’s site, which was one of the places I went when I was first learning CSS. In my opinion the best way to learn CSS is to sit down and play with it. One thing I spent time doing was picking a site and replicating the design using CSS and XHTML. This is particular worthwhile if the site is already standards compilant because when you get stuck you can check you code againist the site’s. CSS ZenGarden is fun to do this with. Just remember what is there isn’t yours so do not (my typo) use it without permission! If you are a graphic design nut then you can work on creating your own CSS-driven design for Zen Garden if you like. Otherwise its still a great study in how CSS can be used. I get ideas from it all the time.

it would be great if maybe youll ask the zen garden for modification but you must have to give credits for all reasons. its not yours but if the intention is for educational purposes no need to be anxious aside from zen garden you could go visit some 101 css site that would give you some unique techniques and style or if you are a real beginner browse in http://www.w3schools.com
