Faculty Blogging
Yesterday afternoon I got a surprising phone call from a writer for the UH student newspaper, the Daily Cougar. She was looking to interview faculty at UH who blog for an article in the paper. She had been given my name as a faculty member who was blogging and wanted to interview me today for an article that would appear in the Monday edition of the paper. Since I’ve only been at UH a little over a month, I was a little shocked that she found me. Still, I love to talk about how blogging can be a beneficial activity for faculty members. Plus, it was a chance to promote the UH Libraries, which I am more than happy to do. Particularly since the Libraries are working on incorporating blogging into the Libraries’ web site. The article is supposed to appear in Monday’s issue of the student paper. The article will be part of a series on blogging at the University. I’m looking forward to reading the other articles and finding out about other people blogging at the University.
