Isn’t it great how people can learn new stuff

Some days I just have to be amused with the capacity of people to learn new stuff and surprise others. Particularly when their learning new stuff helps them to solve problems other people are having. Case in point, for the last week I’ve been super annoyed that since I upgrade my Firefox the link feature hasn’t been working properly in the Wordpress WYSIWYG editor (and every other editor that is TinyMCE) . I’ve been thinking about how annoying it is and not really having a good solution to the problem. Well, I was reading my feeds today and low and behold Jane found a solution. She located it by being a tenuous reference librarian and searching the Firefox User Knowledgebase. I love Jane dearly but would never have thought to ask her how to fix the problem. So it made my day on a multitude of levels to see her fix. One because it solved my problem. However, on a more personal level, it really makes me happy to know that Jane is learning new stuff and growing in different directions.

Thanks for pointing to this. It was only happening on my PC–not the Mac–but was driving me batty, nonetheless.
