Calling all PmWiki users in libraries
2009 August 3
Hi all I’m looking for examples of PmWiki being used in libraries. Through my research I’ve found the following:
- University of Minnesota Library Staff wiki
- Iowa State University Library wiki – discussed in a Journal of Web Librarianship article
- Information Technology Division University of Maryland Library
- Forbes Library in Northampton, MA
- University of South Carolina Aiken – website, Aiken County History Archive
However, I’m wondering if there are any other examples out there. If you have one could you please comment on this post? Many thanks!
Hey Karen — this probably isn’t *quite* what you’re looking for, but I thought I’d let you know anyway. We’re using PmWiki in “farm” mode to power our hosted wiki service: http://blog.lib.mcmaster.ca/. We’re mostly targeting faculty who want to use wikis in their courses, teaching & research, but we’ve got a bunch for library projects and other campus stuff. Here’s the complete list of wikis we’re hosting for the campus community: http://blog.lib.mcmaster.ca/wikis-the-20-toolbox/.
Thanks a lot for your interesting article. But I had difficult time navigating through your website because I kept getting 502 bad gateway error. Just thought to let you know.
