Very nice presentation. Have looked at WorldCat Identities at all? Since you should have OCLC#’s, you could access WorldCat Identities via an OpenURL and display information about the author gleaned from WorldCat and VIAF (including Wikipedia links for many authors). There’s a short explanation of this at

Obviously the documentation is a bit thin right now, but we’d be glad to answer questions.

I just started thinking about this and will read the post. Look for a upcoming post where I talk about WorldCat Identities as one of the things that OCLC is doing that is of interest to me.
